Meet Our Doctors
Dr. McKenna
Terence P. McKenna, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. McKenna is a board-certified pediatrician who has been in private practice since 1984. He is an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is affiliated with Kosair Children's Hospital. He has genuine interest in allergy and sports medicine, but loves the challenge of general pediatrics.

Dr. McKenna completed his medical training at the University of Louisville in 1981. He followed graduation with his pediatric residency at Kosair Children's Hospital. Prior to working in Prospect, Dr. McKenna spent two years in private practice in Corydon, Indiana.

He is the father of six children and considers family his top priority. He and his wife, Patty can be seen at many functions in the community in support of their children. Dr. McKenna loves the beach and spends a lot of his free time outside, especially in the garden.

Dr. McKenna encourages parents to always try to communicate with their children, especially teenagers. Don't be afraid to set reasonable limits and learn to say "no" on occasion. Touch your kids often and give them a little quality time each day and stay involved with their education and social encounters to help them meet their potential of productive and respected young adults.
Dr. Hynes
Patrick Hynes, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Hynes was born here in Louisville and after several years in various states returned here for most of his education. He graduated from Saint Xavier High School before attending Bellarmine College (University now) where he received a B.A. in Biology. He attended medical school here at University of Louisville and received his degree in 1995. He initially did his internship in Internal Medicine, but after a year realized the error in his ways, and returned to his original calling...Pediatrics. He completed his Pediatric residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in January '99 and has been with Prospect Pediatrics ever since. He is Board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He continues to be actively involved in the residency program and frequently mentors resident physicians during their training.

He and his wife have 3 children, Sean, Ryan and Erin who continue to be the best teachers of pediatrics he has ever known. Dr. Hynes continues to feel that parenthood is a continual journey for which there really is no "right or wrong" path. He continues to look forward to serving as your "tour guide" and making sure none of us get lost along the way. In his spare time, he loves to spend as much time as possible with his kids and is an avid follower of the University of Kentucky basketball team.
Dr. Biddle
Pamela C. Biddle, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Pamela Biddle graduated from Transylvania University in 1991 with a BA in Biology. She completed her medical training at the University of Louisville in 1995 followed by a pediatric residency also at U of L. Dr. Biddle completed Sibshop training in April 2011 and runs workshops called SIBLINKS for the siblings of special needs kids once/month. These workshops allow siblings to be with other kids who understand what it’s like to have a sibling with a special health or developmental need. She is a member of Northeast Christian Church and is involved in their special needs ministry. She also has a special interest in adolescent gynecology.

Dr. Biddle’s first love, of course, is her family. She has boy/girl twins, Ryan and Erin, born in 2000, who attend North Oldham schools. Her husband, David, is an emergency medicine physician at Baptist Hospital East. She has 2 golden retriever mixes, Digger and Zip, and fosters dogs for GRRAND.
