Dr Lane grew up in Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina and settled with her
family in Lexington, KY where she graduated from High School. She is a
graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in engineering. She attended
University of Louisville College of Medicine and completed her Pediatric
residency program at The Ohio State University. She was awarded the
"Resident Teaching Award” by her medical students while in residency. Dr.
Lane is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics.
Since finishing her
training, Dr. Lane has resided and worked as a pediatrician in New Albany,
Indiana where her husband, Chris was born and raised. Chris is currently a
prosecutor at the Floyd County Prosecutor’s Office.
Dr. Lane is very excited about
joining Prospect Pediatrics in January 2008. She looks forward to being your
child's healthcare provider for many years to come. Dr. Lane has a special
interests in emergency pediatrics and international adoption.
Dr. Lane is a proud mother of Caleb, almost 4,
Ethan, 2 and “Jakie”, 7 months. She also has two golden retrievers, Gabe and
Maggie. Dr. Lane spends most of her spare time running after her three boys.
She also finds time teaching parenting classes through her church and
running and training for half and full marathons.
